When the weather changes, my skin changes, too. In just a matter of a year, my skin can go from extremely dry, to oily, to a good mix of both, and I find that masks help me keep my skin balanced through all four seasons. While I could pick up a facial mask from a drug store, I prefer to make my own from home. This way, I know the exact ingredients that I’m putting on my face and body.

So, here are four of my go-to DIY facial masks. All are quick, easy, and sure to make your skin feel awesome.

1. Dry Skin Mask

Add moisture to your skin by using this honey and coconut oil mask every morning or night.

Ingredients
Directions

Mix ingredients in a small bowl until well combined. Using a warm cloth, wet face. Cover face with mask, leave on for 10-15 minutes, then rinse/wipe with cloth.

2. Anti-Blackhead Mask

Get rid of annoying blackheads with this refreshing cinnamon and honey mask.

Mix ingredients in a small bowl until well combined. Apply mask to affected areas, typically on and around the nose and chin area. Leave on for 10-15 minutes, then rinse/wipe with cloth.

3. Wrinkle-Reducer Treatment

Wrinkles are an inevitable part of aging, but that doesn’t mean we can’t soften them up a bit with this oatmeal and honey mask.

Mix ingredients in a small bowl until well combined. Apply mixture to face, leave on for 20 minutes, then remove with a warm cloth.

4. Soft, Smooth Skin Mask

Want baby-soft skin in a matter of minutes? Give this olive oil and honey mask a whirl.
