I am obsessed with doing everything I can to provide healthy, fatty milk for my babe. I think I can safely say that it’s working because, I mean, have you seen my girl 😍?!

 

One thing I’ve incorporated since day 1 was eating oats every single morning. I’ve been making these SUPER GREEN MORINGA OATS for breakfast. It’s got serious superpower from oats, flax, moringa, coconut oil, and plant protein — all powerhouses for nutritious breast milk. Now, the taste may not be for everyone. I really like it, but it does taste slightly grassy from the moringa. You can add more honey or mix it more almond butter to it, too.

Super Breastfeeding Oatmeal

Ingredients

1 cup almond milk
Pinch of salt
1 tbsp moringa powder
1 tbsp milled flax
1.5 tsp chia seeds
1 scoop plant-protein
1 tsp coconut oil
1/2 cup oats
1-2 tbsp raw honey

Instructions
  1. In a small pot, bring almond milk and salt to a boil.
  2. Once boiling, turn down the heat and whisk in morning, flax, chia, collagen, and ghee (adding this first helps to mix it thoroughly instead of clumping).
  3. Then stir in oats and cook until you achieve your desired thickness.
  4. Turn off heat and stir in honey. Top with berries, almond butter, shredded coconut, or whatever else you like!
