5 Ways to Use Peanut Powder That Aren’t Smoothies

If you’ve only been using organic peanut powder to boost your smoothies, you’ve been missing out! And if you haven’t been using peanut powder at all, well —  this will inspire you to jump on the peanut powder train, stat. Check out these five inspired recipes from our community and see why this powder will be your new fave ingredient.

Peanut Butter Chocolate Cups by @emilylikesfridays

Ingredients:

Instructions:

  1. Mix peanut powder and water in a bowl until combined, then set aside.
  2. Melt chocolate and coconut oil in microwave on 30 second intervals until smooth and creamy.
  3. Spoon 1 tbsp of your chocolate mixture in a small cupcake pan.
  4. Roll 1/2 tbsp of peanut powder and drop on top of chocolate.
  5. Cover with 1 more tbsp of chocolate mixture.
  6. Refrigerate for 30 minutes.
  7. Enjoy!!!
Chocolate Chip Peanut Butter Banana Bread/Muffins by @eatingwith_em

Ingredients:

Instructions:

  1. In one bowl combine:
  • 1 3/4 cup all purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/4 tsp cinnamon
  • Dash of salt
  1. In a separate bowl, combine:
  • 3 mashed bananas (about 1 1/2 cups)
  • 5 tablespoons peanut powder mixed with 4 tablespoons water
  • 1/4 cup maple syrup
  • 1 room temperature egg
  • 1/4 cup melted and cool coconut oil
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  1. Add dry to wet and combine.
  2. Fold in 1/3 cup chocolate chips. Fill muffin tin or 8×4 loaf pan and bake at 350F for 16-18 minutes for muffins or 45-55 minutes for bread!

Instructions:

  1. Mix all dry ingredients together and separately mix all wet ingredients together (including flax egg).
  2. Add wet ingredients to dry and mix thoroughly.
  3. Add waffle mix by the 1/2 cup to a pre-greased waffle iron and let cook for roughly 10 minutes or until golden brown & crispy on the outside.

Instructions:

  1. Press cookies into a crust in 8×8 lined pan.
  2. Blend all filling ingredients together in a Vitamix or food processor until smooth.
  3. Pour filling into crust and place in freezer.
  4. Meanwhile, place ingredients for jam in a small saucepan and muddle on low heat for 20 minutes until jammy.
  5. Cool completely.
  6. Pour onto cheesecake.
  7. Place back in freezer for 1-2 hours.
  8. Remove from freezer 1 hour before serving.

Instructions:

  1. Process ingredients for base in food processor or blender and pour into lined pan with parchment paper.
  2. Freeze to set for 20 mins. Blend peanut layer ingredients and pour over base. Freeze to set for 20 mins. Melt chocolate and coconut oil and pour over peanut layer, add peanut butter, and freeze until solid!
